Can the cards still be a benefit to me if I am not around a lot of children?

Most definitely.  The guidance cards are dedicated to life force energy, the core within and the beauty of children. The energy of the cards is of the core within.  Even though you may not be protecting the core within of the children around you, you can protect and develop your own.  Your core within is pure as well.  If you have developed patterns of thought and behavior that are no longer serving you, these cards help you to dissipate these patterns.  As an example, card 57 is especially helpful to select when you are going through alot of change.  It provides reassurance that all is well in the present moment even though you may be feeling uneasy.  The cards, just like the other Core Perspective Tools, are all focused on developing the connection to our core within and protecting the core within of the children. Commitment to the process is the key.
